Topics include – The History & Development of Buddhism in the UK, Asian Buddhist Groups in the UK, Teaching Buddhism in schools, universities and on the Internet, Buddhism & Psychotherapy, and Engaging with Society.
Speakers include – Urgyen Sangharakshita, Stephen Batchelor, Dr John Peacock, Dr Helen Waterhouse, Ajahn Laow, Peggy Morgan, Colin Ash, , Ven. Sumana, Tony Kemmer, Phil Henry, Keith Munnings, Sharon Smith, Yann Lovelock, Munisha Dr Robert Bluck, & others to be confirmed.
Artists & performers – Are welcome to exhibit work, or perform, on a voluntary basis during the conference (please contact IOP-UK for further details).
Conference dinner – Optional Saturday evening buffet & performances.
Costs – Whole conference only £65, concessions £45 – includes vegetarian meals and refreshments.
NB Conference dinner an extra £15 for all.
Part-conference attendance possible. Limited on-site accommodation.
